SCW World Championship RP against Josh Hudson and Xander Valentine Part 1: How did Konrad become a professional wrestler and last mountain mentality training climb.

Chicago, Illinois. Sunday 22nd July 2012 (Offline)

I was an annoyance to the WEW roster in two thousand and twelve. I was doing things that went against what I'd do now, with the burning of the US flag, damaging property, setting fire to, after urinating on, her clothes and being drunk a lot to get to Angelica Monroe. She was my opponent at WEW Crossroads PPV event under a different name that I couldn’t legally use due to a lawsuit my twin brother and I had. I also had to pass a breathalyser test as I was so heavily drunk doing the things I did to Angelica. I did pass it, so the match could move forward.

I even destroyed her dad's grave.

Just one more heinous thing that I wouldn't dare to do today, due to me being a NASCAR driver. Those acts would get me fired. But I was a non-wrestler, and wasn't as famous back then as I am now.

I was so full of myself, so arrogant, always boasting about how great I was as a wrestler at that point.

I was sitting in the locker room of the British Alliance, as I didn't have my own because I was only trying to get into the wrestling business. I was going in as the most hated underdog the world knew about.

They had a match themselves as the tag team champions, against Cataclysm. Nick and Tom sat with me, and they had their doubts. Still, I remember so fondly that they were just as encouraging to me, about winning a cage match, with the stipulation being that if I won, I would start training at the Starrdome wrestling school.

I recall getting changed before the match, when Nick patted me on the back before addressing me.

Nick: "You got this in the bag, man."

Tom: "I mean, you know, I thought I was crazy to be a wrestler when I was a Superbikes superstar, but even more for you. I had years of training with Nick to get where I am."

Konrad Raab: "I don't care if I'm a non-wrestler, I'm going to beat the living daylights out of this stupid bitch.  It’s laughable that she thinks she can beat me, just because she's WEW Women's Champion. I will prove that non-wrestlers can come out of nowhere, and score such a massive win."

Nick: "Yeah, man, you sure have got this in the bag. Seems you're already thinking you're better than her."

Konrad Raab: “Damn right I do. I knew what I was doing when provoked her, I did tweets, I did everything to get this bitch to get me in the ring. Experience and championships mean nothing to me. I will go out there and embarrass her in front of the entire world. I fully intend to make her look like a joke."

I laughed as I remembered those times I had with that tandem. They were around for a while, encouraging and supporting me—the only wrestlers who did. But then again, I was just as vile and vicious as they were about America. I consistently trashed that country, though I no longer do now. Even then, I wasn't liked in the locker room. Not at all. Although the same could be said today, I acted like I was better than everyone.

Nick: "Well, we have trained you a bit to gain more experience."

Tom: "But you did a wise thing this time: to join APW and to get some experience in the wrestling business."

I did, as I had secured a title shot there due to many reasons. For one,  I was doing everything to get in the wrestling business. That came from when I had my first ever match with Vantage, the reactions I got with being booed in the entire arena shocked me, which meant I did something to impress the fans. I figured that would’ve been difficult as a non-wrestler who didn't bother to train back then. So, it meant I had to push my way inside. I trained super hard for the match, despite having a ton of jokes about being a pig and being overweight thrown at me, as I had no idea the dedication it took to be a wrestler.

Nick: "Man, you're more fired up than us, and we have to defend the tag titles against Cataclysm."

Tom: "Nathan Parker has been behind us all the way, so it's crazy that he's not with you."

Konrad Raab: "I don't care what that idiot thinks. I'm sorry, but he is an idiot who knows nothing about wrestling. I know everything and will deliver to go out there and win the match. Because I'm better than Angelica."

Nick: "But that cage match, dude, you'll get hurt much worse than your match against Vantage."

Konrad Raab: "Please, I had pain on a German TV game show. Remember all the fun and games I had, besides being a banger car driver. Pain is something I can tackle. Plus, I had my nose broken by a professional boxer before, so it's nothing new."

Of course, I was proud to promote my past work. The fun ended with discussing the match with the boys. Knowing they had to face Cassidy Hightower and Paula Gonzalez for the WEW Tag Titles before I fought Angelica Monroe, someone told the guys their match was next.

Nick: "Well, Tom and I had better get going, and we wish you the best of luck out there."

Tom: "Remember, you're banned from helping us and vice versa tonight."

Konrad Raab: "Oh, don't you boys worry; I got Angelica right where I want her. I made her so weak, although she had to take potshots of my wife, who's pregnant with my baby, but still, I will put that stupid bitch in her place as I know you boys will with Cassidy and Paula."

Nick: "I bet one day, you'll have this tag title around your shoulder or waist as a professional wrestler.

I patted them on the back and left them to go their way to the ring. At the same time, I did some shadow boxing, talking myself up about being the winner of the match. I was confident that I could pull off the upset with the amount of training and matches I had that Angelica had no idea about. Hell, not even the boys did until Tom discovered it. As the boys returned without the tag titles, I was going out with the gold and black coat I was wearing with boxing gloves designed for wrestling with my hoodie up and ready to wrestle Angelica Monroe for the match of my life.

Although Angelica's sister, Trisha Monroe, attacked me after the match, I did what I’d set out to do as a  non-wrestler; I won the match and earned a spot at the StarrDome wrestling school. I was very overconfident at this point, and I went to the back, bragging so much because getting into the school meant my new career as a professional wrestler was about to begin.

Although I didn't know when I was starting to be trained to be a professional wrestler, nobody can say I didn't try. I had blood on my nose after Angelica drop-kicked me into the steel cage. But I managed to win the match by climbing on top of the cage to do a powerbomb, which sparked the reaction from the fans as something amazing I did. I was beaten a lot by Angelica in that entire match, but I finished the damn job to win. As I entered the locker room and had already gotten over the tag title loss, my boys Nick and Tom hugged me hard.

Nick: "You've done it; you can finally achieve your dreams of being a professional wrestler."

Tom: "So now that you're going to be training at the StarrDome wrestling school, what are your goals for the future?"

Konrad Raab: "Simple, as I proved to Angelica tonight, I will become world champion after training for a few years. Either here or in a different company, I will make a legacy of being a great wrestler."

Nick: "Although saying that, you need to lose weight first. I understand you needed to do this task to be a wrestler because there weren't any wrestling schools in Germany, and it's unfortunate, but at the same time, now you're training to be a wrestler, you need to focus solely on wrestling. You can't go off and do TV show stuff anymore."

Konrad Raab: "That's the point of why I wanted to be a wrestler so badly because I wanted to move on from all of that and become a professional wrestler, especially now that Elton is ready to host the TV show on his own that I trained for him to do."

Elton was a great friend of mine, and to this day, he still is. He had been commentating on my matches against Vantage and Angelica, along with interviewing me and giving the world updates about the breathalyser sample test I had to provide because, otherwise, I wouldn't have wrestled tonight due to being highly intoxicated from drinking alcohol.

Tom: "I really can't wait to see what goods you produce when you do finally become champion around here, but I agree with Nick; you do need to focus on your weight as you were struggling with stamina tonight, and that's something you need to improve, despite your age, but the crowd were shocked on what you did."

Nick: "Even I was, and that's saying something."

Konrad Raab: "I'm going to be a wrestling superstar, and I'm going to be trained to be the best I can be. I will remember this moment forever, and when I step into the ring of WEW, everyone will see changes within me that will grow and grow until I become a champion because bitches, I will become a world champion. I will make a living being a professional wrestler."

Tom: "You deserve it because of that fire you showed to everyone; you did everything to knock Angelica off guard, how you caused her to be so mad that she had to bust your nose open."

Konrad Raab: "She'll learn it's for her good. Maybe I'll outlast her as a wrestler as a whole because she's finished; she'll never be able to come back after that embarrassing loss I gave to that horrible bitch who's proving more and more each day that the locker room will remember her  being a pathetic excuse of a wrestler who's a Scarlet Champion lost to a non-wrestler."

Back then, another thing that worked in my favour was my fantastic achievement of beating Angelica as a current Scarlet Champion. No non-wrestler in the history of professional wrestling has ever beaten a champion. Granted, it was a non-title match, but I smiled at her, acting like she tried to destroy my wrestling dreams, only she didn't. I still didn't know the point of Trisha attacking me unless she was welcoming me to being a professional wrestler.

Nick: "Oh yeah, you did. I have a huge amount of faith in you being a champion someday, but for now, you got to focus on the present to be fully now dedicated to busting your ass that will be thrown at you. Maybe that Trisha girl was upset that you beat her more experienced sister, hence why she attacked you. You'll grow and become a star, maybe even bigger than Tom and me here."

Konrad Raab: "That's what I aim to do, and I will forever brag about beating a worthless champion whose title I made a joke. I will be enjoying this moment for the rest of my life. I'm gonna get drunk and get pissed off my head and beat the bitch who I insulted her dead dad, burning an American flag, pissing and burning her clothes and using graffiti in her locker room to provoke her."

Tom: "That was funny, and I support it. Let's celebrate you being a professional wrestler in the making now down at the nightclub; you up for that, Nick?"

Nick: "Sure am."

Konrad Raab: "I need a shower first, though, before we have a night out of our lives that now I've become a professional wrestler, and I'm going to be the best wrestler the world's ever seen, and I'm going to be unstoppable without anyone touching a barge pole of reaching my greatness of being a great wrestler I already am as a non-wrestler."

They were proud of me, upsetting the odds, and everyone would talk about that upset win I had had for a very long time. I took my clothes off to get in the shower as I knew Tom and Nick would pack my wrestling gear in the bag and get the nightclub clothes I had taken if I had won the match. I did and put those clothes on before we went out the night in the town as I was an arrogant son of a bitch that bragged the entire night about me being a professional wrestler of beating a Scarlet Champion tonight. We partied until it was five in the morning, and when it was closing time, I went to the hotel to sleep throughout the day.

Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. (Mount Kilimanjaro climb) Wednesday 6th November 2024. (Offline)

It's been a hard road to get to when it comes to this mountain, which is the biggest test of my life to overcome my mental fears when I aim to target the new SCW World Champion, Xander Valentine, next week. I've been doing this walk for five days and was still on this mountain climb. Yes, it was to help me mentally, but I had to overcome another challenge when climbing this mountain: fear of altitude sickness. Sure, I coped well with Wales and even the Mexico mountains, but these were depths far from my comfort zone.

I was going for the SCW World Title to challenge for the belt I had planned. Little did anyone know, so I walked with Jacob Thomas, the mountain climber, who had been pretty quiet. Although I was moaning because I was mentally tired of this walk, I knew I had to keep going. Jacob kept reminding me every day.

Jacob Thomas: "Remember, Konrad, think of your dreams."

Konrad Raab: "Oh, I know, it's hard to overcome both fears simultaneously."

Jacob Thomas: "That's why I picked this mountain for us to do: to overcome altitude sickness. It's all in your head, and that's something you can't let Xander do to you in any way."

Konrad Raab: “Yeah I know.”

That was all I had to say as I struggled with this mountain badly. I had been plodding along, to be honest, and continued for the sake of it. This would be good for me if I were ever going to be an SCW World Champion, the first German SCW Champion. I knew I had to be different when I got plans to strike Xander, which would be a surprise and hurt him in the process since nobody else had the guts to do so. I hate the sorry ass state of wrestling today. Jacob looks at me.

Jacob Thomas: "Something on your mind?"

Konrad Raab: "Just how pathetic these wrestlers are. I won't attack Xander to get a title shot; they will earn it. Like, they're wrestlers, for god sake. Friendships are completely irrelevant in the ring. Also, who cares who earns what, and not these days?"

Jacob Thomas: "I don't like the negativity."

Konrad Raab: "It's frustrating how much bullshit the last World Title matches have been all shaking hands, and we wrestle as competitors. That's not an interesting story to tell. That doesn't sell tickets. Also, these wrestlers moan and bitch a lot about wanting a World Title shot, yet they are too afraid to attack Xander to get one. Well, Josh previously."

I agreed with everything I've said about the wrestlers being afraid to attack the champions to leap ahead of everyone else. I shook my head as I struggled along the challenging part of the mountain, yet we had to climb down in the five days. I hated this mountain, although the scenery was excellent, especially seeing giraffes and elephants.

I also liked that it was designed to be a volcano, which it wasn't. Still, I could smell in my mind as if the volcano was pouring fire, coming out of it, which was one of my plans to strike an attack on Xander that many wrestlers wanted me to do for the world title. Ross was on the radio for me to talk about the world title match I aimed to have on my return while we were walking with a lot of people behind and in front of us with a guide talking about the history of the mountain and how many people have died climbing this mountain.

Jacob Thomas: "Fascinating story, don't you think?"

Konrad Raab: "Mentally makes me sick thinking about it, let alone react to the fascinating story."

Jacob Thomas: "Here's a fascinating story for you. Imagine you got that SCW World title match against Xander Valentine in your home country, and you won the title after all the mental training obstacles you've had to overcome to the point you got one when you weren't interested in it last time?"

Konrad Raab: “Yeah, I do. I wasn't interested last time because of my war with Kandis. But now, when I return, my focus will be on the world title because German fans expect that. They would riot if I didn't get a World Title match."

It was the first time I had genuinely spoken about the fans in this manner in a very long time, and I knew that the fanfare would be significant to me when I aimed to win this World Title match in Germany. First, I had to conquer this mountain. Of course, many mountaineers looked behind me, hearing our wrestling talk. But they focused ahead, as I do.

Jacob Thomas: "How did we go from hating the walk to you talking so much positivity about the world title match that you crave?"

Konrad Raab: "My head's a mess. One side says I will win the world title, and the other says, "Let's go back down from this mountain and forget this walk."

Jacob Thomas: "Look though, we're nearly at the top. We have a few more miles to go before we get there. You're pretty fast today, the fastest I've seen you walk a mountain, especially one as difficult as this."

Konrad Raab: "I just want to get this arduous task done. I want to be the world champion in Germany, and that's what I think right now."

I certainly did, as I became silent after I said that, almost like I hit a kill switch in my head to battle the hostile demons that said I couldn't be a World Champion. However, the positive demons also said you got the crowd behind you, and you'll be fighting Xander with such aggression and the will to win that you will become the new SCW World Champion.

I've never had this feeling before. I was beginning to understand that because I was thinking about winning the world title so much, I forgot about altitude sickness, even though the story is fascinating. Still, it did frighten me a bit. Still, I knew that if I achieved this, it would be exactly like me: walking in Germany as a title contender and beating Xander as no person has before to be the new SCW Champion in my home country, with the crowd going crazy.

Jacob Thomas: "You went quiet all of a sudden."

Konrad Raab: "Just thinking about the good things of me being champion Jacob."

Jacob Thomas: "It seems that has done the trick."

As he said that, I only realised how close we were to the summit as I pushed myself forward with positive thoughts to get to the top finally. I immediately got the flag out of Jacob's bag and jumped to plant it down, which states Konrad Raab's mentality training is completed. Me and I, as we've always done on every mountain climb I did, took a selfie picture of ourselves, and then now, we gotta get down for five days, which was hell. But we managed to get down in five days from my speed. We were down on Monday afternoon and slept in a hotel near the mountains for the night before getting the flight back to America on Tuesday.
